“A message from Supervisor Cynthia Young

As I reflect on this election, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible people who stood beside me and supported me every step of the way.

To those who walked with me, addressed envelopes, made phone calls, knocked on doors, spread the word, offered words of encouragement, and gave their time and energy to this campaign — thank you. Every single effort mattered, and I never took any of it for granted.

To those who encouraged me when the road felt long, reminded me why I started, and lent me a shoulder when I had moments of doubt — you will never know how much that meant to me. Your belief in me helped carry me through some challenging moments.

And most of all, to the voters who took the time to show up and cast a ballot — THANK YOU. Thank you for your trust, your confidence, and for making your voices heard. Your participation is what makes our democracy work, and I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you.

An election may have a beginning and an end, but the friendships, kindness, generosity, and connections made along the way are something I will carry with me long after the campaign is over.  I may not be able to thank each of you individually, but please know that I see you, I appreciate you, and I am truly grateful.

This journey was never mine alone. It was made possible by all of you.  From the bottom of my heart, thank you for walking alongside me.

Cynthia Young”
